Mommy bought swim lessons for you and Daddy for his birthday. You started them on Tuesday. Boy you sure like a big bathtub but not the pool so much. You cried, probably because it was a little overwhelming, but you also had moments of peace in the water. I bet that in the next few lessons you will be jumping in to the water all on your own and learning to back float. I can’t wait to dip you under water and see you pop up with a smile on your face. Of course, it will take some time and patience but I can see you loving the water. You have 2 other babies in your class too. Their names are Torsten and Natania. Your swim team is called the “Little Snappers”, like the turtles. Ha ha, too cute. Grandma Maria and Paw Paw were there to take tons of photos and witness your first swim lesson. We all love you so much and really enjoy pool time with you, even if you are so sure about it yet. We will go every Tuesday at 6:30 and swim for a half hour. Daddy and I can’t wait for you next lesson.

Hi Beas,
This is my favorite picture of you so far. You are hanging on to me for dear life and to me it symbolizes the role I want to play in your life. I always want to be there for you and hopefully provide an additional shoulder to hang on to during tough times. By the time you are able to read this for yourself you will understand that I assigned you my own special name virtually the day you were born. Just as I had a special name for your mother when she was little, I call you “the Beaser” or sometimes just “Beas” and occassionally the “Beaser Beas”. I am not sure why that name fits you so well but everyone agrees that it does (except your mom). At home you will surely be called Estella, Stella Bear, StellaB, or Bebe for fear my little nickname will become too popular, but over at our house you will always be “the Beas”. Regardless of what we call you there are already many hopes and dreams for you in our heads. It seems like too much pressure to put on a 9 month old but you never miss a beat.

Where to start? You were born August 2, 2006 at 10:27 AM. You were born 7lbs 15 oz and 20 inches long. After a long 14 hours with mommy hanging minute by minute you came into our lives. A beautiful shinning light of new life, bringing joy into all of our lives.
You are now almost 10 months old and daddy finally got his poop together to get this site up and running. Within those 10 months I have seen you grow into an amazing little girl. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t sit in awe by your brilliants. Every day you learn something new and start to recognize more of your environment. It is my hope that your family and I will stop for a few moments to share our times with you on this site.
You have so many special people in your life that care and love you so much. First and foremost there are your grandmothers. They take the time each week to spend time with you while mommy and daddy bring home the bacon. Without your grandmother Maria and Susan I don’t know what we would do. I’ll talk a lot about them throughout this site. Then there is you “PawPaw” ( Grandpa Bauer). He has an undying love for you that is truly special. I’m sure his posts will most defiantly be great ones. You not only have them but you also have Grandpa Dan and Tam. They are the most compassionate part of your family and you will learn many wonderful things from them. It doesn’t stop there. You have so many other people like your uncle Luka that I want to tell you about. He is someone that daddy really looks up to and loves very much. With time I hope to give you a bit of insight on all the people that will make you that special girl I know you’ll become. I love you Estella.
